Your Public Kiosk

Every seller has a public shop page where buyers can browse your listings and learn about you. Make it uniquely yours with personalization options.

Find your shop at: shopbroker.ca/shop/@yourusername

What You Can Customize

Your Shop Scene

Your kiosk features a custom scene that showcases your products on a cozy marketplace stall. We update it each week to feature your latest items.

How it works:

  • Once you have at least one active listing, we create a personalized shop scene

  • The scene updates weekly to feature your current products

  • New sellers see a "Kiosk coming soon" message until their first scene is ready

You don't need to do anything - we handle the magic behind the scenes. Just keep your listings active and we'll take care of the rest.

Why can't I see my kiosk scene yet?

Your shop scene generates automatically when you meet these requirements:

  • You have at least one active listing (available for purchase)

  • You've logged in recently

Scenes are generated weekly on Sundays, so if you just created your first listing, check back early next week.

Awning Color

Pick a color to personalize your shop:

  • Grey (default)

  • Teal

  • Purple

  • Yellow

  • Green

  • Black

This color appears on your listing cards, your kiosk awning, and accents throughout your shop page.

Business Name

If you run a business, show your business name instead of your personal name:

  • Displays on your shop header

  • Shows on listing cards

  • Appears in buyer communications

Leave blank to show your first name instead.

Welcome Message

Write a greeting for visitors (up to 500 characters):

  • Introduce yourself

  • Describe what you sell

  • Share what makes your shop special

  • Add personality

Example: > "Welcome! I specialize in vintage electronics and restored audio equipment. Every item is tested and comes with a 30-day guarantee. Happy browsing!"

Social Links

Connect your online presence:

Website - Full URL to your site (e.g., https://yoursite.com)

Instagram - Just your handle, without the @ (e.g., yourhandle)

These appear as clickable links on your shop page.

How to Customize

Go to My Shop or Profile Settings

Look for the Your Kiosk section

Make your changes:

- Choose your awning color - Add your business name - Write your welcome message - Add social links

Click Save after each section

Your changes show up immediately on your public shop page. Your kiosk scene updates automatically each week.

Tips for a Great Shop

Keep your listings active - Your kiosk scene showcases your products automatically. The more active listings you have, the more impressive your kiosk looks.

Be specific in your message - Tell visitors what they'll find. "I sell vintage cameras from the 1960s-80s" is better than "I sell stuff."

Pick a color that fits your brand - Your awning color sets the tone. Choose something that matches your style or products.

Add both social links - Buyers appreciate seeing you have an established presence elsewhere.

Preview your shop - Click "View Kiosk" to see what buyers see.

What Buyers See

When someone visits your shop, they see:

  • Your kiosk scene (or a "Kiosk coming soon" message for new sellers)

  • Your name, rating, and location displayed as overlay pills on the scene

  • Your welcome message

  • Links to your website and Instagram

  • All your active marketplace listings

  • Your recent reviews

Privacy Note

Your shop page is public. Anyone can visit it, even without a ShopBroker account. Only show information you're comfortable sharing publicly.

If you prefer privacy, you can hide from the marketplace entirely in your profile settings. See "Controlling Listing Visibility" for more details.
