How to change your address in ShopBroker

Changing Your Address

Your address on ShopBroker is managed through your connected payment provider (PayPal or Stripe). Here's how to update it depending on which provider you use.

How to Update

If You Use PayPal

Go to Payments > Settings (click your profile picture, then Payments, then the Settings tab)

Click Open PayPal Dashboard to open paypal.com in a new tab

Update your address in your PayPal business profile

Changes flow back to ShopBroker on your next sign-in

If You Use Stripe

Go to Payments > Settings

Click Manage in Stripe to open your Stripe Express dashboard

Update your address in Stripe

Changes sync back to ShopBroker

If You Use Both

Update your address with whichever provider's account is connected to your seller profile. If you've connected both, update both to keep them in sync.

For Buyers

Delivery Address

Each order uses the address you enter at checkout. You don't need to update a stored address; just enter your current address when you buy.

For Sellers

Pickup Address

Your address is where couriers come to pick up items. Keep it current in your provider's dashboard so pickups go smoothly.

Important Notes

  • Update before creating new listings

  • Provide clear pickup instructions (buzzer codes, gates, etc.) in the delivery notes when marking items ready

  • Where your orders are delivered

  • What address auto-fills at checkout

For Sellers

  • Where couriers pick up items

  • Delivery feasibility for buyers

Tips for Accurate Addresses

Be Complete

Include:

  • Street number and name

  • Unit/apartment number

  • City and postal code

  • Province

Double-Check Postal Code

Wrong postal codes can send couriers to wrong locations.

Moving?

If you're relocating:

Update your address in your payment provider's dashboard

Check any active listings

Remember delivery zones may change

Address Verification

Addresses are checked against our delivery service areas. If you enter an address outside our zones:

  • Delivery may not be available

  • In-person pickup still works

  • You'll be notified during setup

Privacy

  • Your address isn't publicly visible

  • Buyers see it only after purchase (for pickup coordination)

  • Couriers see it for pickup or delivery

  • ShopBroker staff can access for support

Common Questions

What if my address is in a new area?

We'll check if delivery service is available. If not, you can still use in-person pickup.

Can I have multiple addresses?

Each account has one address tied to your active payment provider.

I switched providers, why is my address wrong?

If you switched between PayPal and Stripe, your address comes from whichever provider is currently active. Make sure your address is correct in that provider's dashboard.
