What You'll See at Checkout
The checkout page will show only the payment options the seller accepts. You won't need to guess - just pick from what's available.
Payment Security
Every payment on ShopBroker is protected:
Encrypted transactions - Your payment details are secured with industry-standard encryption
No charges until delivery - We authorize (hold) your payment, but don't capture it until you receive your item
Fraud protection - Our payment processors monitor for suspicious activity
Why Pre-Authorization?
When you check out, we place a "hold" on your card for the order total. This:
Confirms you have available funds
Ensures the seller gets paid when they deliver
Protects you if something goes wrong
The actual charge happens only after successful delivery or when you confirm pickup.
Currency
All transactions on ShopBroker are in Canadian Dollars (CAD).
