Your Money Is Protected

When you buy on ShopBroker, you're not just sending money to a stranger and hoping for the best. We've built a payment system that protects you every step of the way.

How Payment Protection Works

Here's how it works:

You pay - Your card is authorized, and funds are held securely by your payment provider

Secure hold - The payment is protected until the transaction completes

You receive - Your item arrives via delivery or pickup

Then the seller gets paid - Only after you've got your item

The seller can't access your payment until you've confirmed receipt. It's that simple.

When Is My Card Charged?

Your card is authorized at checkout, which means the funds are reserved. But the actual charge only goes through after:

  • For delivery: The driver confirms successful delivery

  • For self-arranged pickup: You tap "Pay Seller" after receiving the item

If something goes wrong, the authorization is released and your funds are returned.

What If Something Goes Wrong?

We've got you covered:

Item never arrives? Full refund.

Delivery fails? Full refund.

You cancel before pickup/delivery? Full refund.

Seller cancels? Full refund.

The Bottom Line

Unlike traditional classifieds where you hand over cash and hope for the best, ShopBroker securely holds your payment until the transaction is complete. You only pay when you're happy.
