Ready to sell something? Creating a listing on ShopBroker takes just a few minutes. Here's everything you need to know.
Before You Start
Make sure you have:
Photos ready - Clear, well-lit pictures of your item
Item details - Brand, model, condition, any flaws
A price in mind - Or let Price Genius help you decide
Step by Step
1. Start a New Listing
From your seller dashboard, tap "Create Listing" or the plus icon. This opens the listing form.
2. Add Your Photos
Upload clear photos that show:
The item from multiple angles
Any brand labels or model numbers
Close-ups of condition (scratches, wear)
Everything included (accessories, cables, boxes)
Good photos sell items faster and reduce questions.
3. Use Price Genius (Optional)
Not sure what to charge? Tap "Get Price Suggestion" to use our AI-powered pricing tool:
Upload a photo of your item
Answer a few questions
Get a suggested price based on market data
4. Enter Item Details
Fill in the information:
Title - Clear, searchable name (e.g., "iPhone 13 Pro 256GB - Graphite")
Description - Condition, features, reason for selling
Price - Your asking price in CAD
Item weight - Used to determine delivery eligibility
5. Choose Fulfillment Options
Select how buyers can receive the item:
Professional delivery - Our drivers handle pickup and delivery
Self-arranged - Buyer picks up from you directly
Both - Let buyers choose their preference
6. Set Your Availability
Mark when you're available for driver pickup or buyer meetups. This helps coordinate smooth handoffs.
7. Review and Create
Double-check everything looks right, then tap "Create Listing." Your unique share link is ready!
Your Share Link
Once created, you get a link like:

Share this anywhere:
Text messages
Facebook Marketplace
Kijiji conversations
Instagram DMs
Email
Anyone with the link can view your listing and buy.
Editing Your Listing
Made a mistake or want to update something? You can edit:
Title and description
Price
Photos
Availability
Just open the listing from your dashboard and make changes.
Tips for Great Listings
Write Honest Descriptions
Include any flaws or wear. This builds trust and prevents disputes later.
Be Specific
"iPhone 13" is okay. "iPhone 13 Pro 256GB Sierra Blue - 94% Battery Health" is better.
Respond Quickly
When buyers message with questions, quick responses lead to faster sales.
