Update your personal information and settings

Your Profile Settings

Keep your ShopBroker profile up to date to ensure smooth transactions and clear communication.

Accessing Your Profile

Log into your ShopBroker account

Go to My Shop

Tap the settings icon to open your profile settings

What You Can Update

Personal Information

  • First and Last Name: Your display name on the platform

  • Profile Photo: Helps build trust with buyers/sellers

Contact Information

  • Email: Displayed in your profile (read-only β€” contact support to change)

  • Phone Number: Used for delivery pickup coordination

Address

Your address is managed through your payment provider (Stripe). To update your address, go to your Stripe Express dashboard from Profile Settings.

Location Settings

Your location sets which area you see first when browsing the marketplace.

How Location is Set

ShopBroker detects your location automatically using:

Your saved postal code (most accurate)

Browser location (if you've allowed access)

Manual selection (you choose from the list)

Changing Your Marketplace Location

Your marketplace browsing location can be changed anytime directly from the navigation bar - you don't need to visit profile settings.

Just tap your current location in the navigation and select a new area or market.

Location vs. Address

These are different:

  • Address is your physical location for deliveries and pickups

  • Marketplace location is where you want to browse for items

Your address updates automatically set your default marketplace location, but you can browse other areas without changing your address.

Updating Your Photo

A profile photo helps others trust you:

Go to your profile settings

Tap the photo placeholder or current photo

Upload a new image

Save changes

Tips: Use a clear headshot, friendly expression, good lighting.

About Your Email

Your email address is shown in your profile settings but cannot be changed directly. If you need to update your email, please contact our support team at [email protected].

Updating Your Address

Your address is managed through Stripe. To update:

Go to Profile Settings

Tap Manage in Stripe to open your Stripe Express dashboard

Update your address there

Your address is used for delivery coordination, tax purposes, and setting your default marketplace location.

Privacy Settings

Control what others can see:

  • Profile photo: Visible to buyers/sellers

  • First name: Visible to buyers/sellers

  • Full address: Only shared after purchase for delivery

  • Marketplace location: Not publicly visible

Your email and phone are never publicly displayed.

Account Status

View your current status:

  • Verification status: Whether you've completed identity verification

  • Payment provider: Whether your Stripe account is connected
