Understanding the Service Fee
ShopBroker charges a service fee on each sale. Here's exactly how it works.
The Fee Structure
Seller Service Fee
When you sell an item, ShopBroker takes a percentage of the listing price as a service fee. This comes out of your payout - the buyer doesn't see or pay it separately.
You'll see the exact fee percentage and your take-home amount when creating a listing and in your transaction details.
What's Included
Your service fee covers:
Payment processing through secure checkout
Payment protection for buyers and sellers
Delivery coordination with our courier partner
Customer support for any issues
Platform maintenance and improvements
Dispute resolution if problems arise
How It's Calculated
The fee is calculated as a percentage of your listing price only. When you create a listing, you'll see exactly:
The service fee amount
What you'll receive after the fee
Delivery fees are separate and don't affect your payout.
What Buyers Pay
Buyers see a simple total at checkout:
Item price (what you listed)
Delivery fee (if choosing delivery, based on distance/size)
The service fee is between you and ShopBroker - buyers don't see it or pay it separately.
Delivery Fees
Delivery fees are:
Calculated based on distance and item size
Paid entirely by the buyer

You're NOT charged if:

We try to keep fees stable and competitive. If fees ever change:
We'll notify you in advance
Changes apply to new listings only
Existing transactions use original rates
Tax Implications
Service fees may be tax-deductible as business expenses if you sell regularly. Consult your accountant for advice specific to your situation.
