How It Works

When you buy on ShopBroker, your payment is protected from start to finish. Here's the quick version:

You pay, and we hold your money safely
The seller prepares your item
You receive it (by delivery or pickup)
Only then does the seller get paid

No more wondering if you'll actually get what you paid for!

Step-by-Step: Placing Your Order

1. Find Your Item

> Two ways in, one checkout. Buy a single item from a share link, or add several from the same seller to your cart and check out as one order.

There are two ways to start, and both lead to the same simple checkout:

One item from a share link. The seller shares a link with you (usually by text, email, or social media). Click it to see the item's details, photos, and price.

Several items from one seller. Found more than one thing you love in the same seller's shop? Tap Add to Cart on each listing, then open your Cart to review everything and check out as a single order.

2. Choose How You Want to Get It

You'll have two options:

Professional Delivery - A verified courier picks up from the seller and delivers to you. Perfect if you want convenience and safety.

In-Person Pickup - Meet the seller directly to pick up your item. You're still protected because payment is held until you confirm you've received it.

3. Enter Your Details

Fill in your contact information:

Your name and email
Phone number (for delivery updates)
Delivery address (if choosing delivery)

4. Schedule Delivery (If Applicable)

Pick a delivery date that works for you. Deliveries are available throughout the day and evening.

5. Review and Pay

Check your order summary, including:

Item price (one line for each item)
Delivery fee, if you chose delivery (buying several items? They travel together as one trip, so there's just one delivery fee for the whole order)
Total

The price you see at checkout is the exact amount you'll pay, with nothing added at the end. Then complete payment with PayPal or a credit card.

> What you see is what you pay. Your total is the item prices plus one delivery fee when you choose delivery. There are no buyer service fees.

6. You're All Set!

You'll receive a confirmation email with your order details. If you chose delivery, we'll send updates as your item makes its way to you.

What Happens Next?

For Delivery Orders: Sit back and relax. You'll receive an email and in-app message as soon as the seller schedules your delivery, plus updates when the courier picks up your item and when they're on the way. Once delivered, we'll ask you to rate your experience.

For In-Person Pickup: Coordinate with the seller to meet up. When you've received and inspected the item, just tap "Release funds" in your order details to release the payment.
