Professional Delivery, Made Easy

We've partnered with a trusted courier network to handle delivery, so your items get from sellers to you safely and reliably.

How Delivery Works

When a seller offers delivery, we automatically find you the best available rate. No complicated options to choose from β€” just a single delivery price based on the route and timing.

Delivery timing:

  • Most deliveries arrive the same day or next day

  • Deliveries happen between 8am and 8pm

  • You'll see the estimated delivery date at checkout

Two Delivery Types

Behind the scenes, ShopBroker uses two delivery methods to get your item to you. You don't need to choose β€” we find the best option automatically based on the seller's availability and your location.

Standard (Same-Day)

  • On-demand courier pickup from the seller

  • Courier typically arrives at the seller within about 2 hours

  • Same-day delivery when the seller dispatches early enough

Flex (Same-Day or Next-Day)

  • Scheduled delivery within a specific time window

  • The seller schedules a delivery date and window that works for them

  • Often available at a lower rate than Standard

Your confirmation page shows the delivery type and estimated date.

What Happens After You Buy

1. Seller Prepares Your Item

The seller packages your item and prints a shipping label for the courier.

2. Delivery Gets Scheduled

For Flex deliveries, the seller schedules a delivery date and time window. As soon as they do, you'll be notified:

  • Email notification with the delivery date, time window, and what to expect next

  • In-app message in your conversation with the seller confirming the schedule

For Standard deliveries, the seller dispatches the courier on-demand, so you'll go straight to the next step.

3. Courier Picks Up

A verified courier picks up the item from the seller. For Standard deliveries, the courier typically arrives at the seller within about 2 hours. For Flex deliveries, the courier arrives during the seller's scheduled pickup window.

4. Direct Delivery to You

The courier brings the item directly to your address. You'll get real-time tracking updates as they approach.

5. Confirmation

Once delivered, you'll receive confirmation and your payment is released to the seller.

What Makes It Safe?

Verified Couriers: All couriers are vetted and background-checked.

Real-Time Tracking: Know exactly where your item is throughout delivery.

Professional Handling: Items are handled carefully from pickup to delivery.

Insured: Deliveries are covered in case of damage or issues.

Service Areas

Courier delivery is currently available in these Canadian cities:

  • Toronto (including the Greater Toronto Area)

  • Ottawa

  • Hamilton

  • Oshawa

  • Calgary

  • Edmonton

  • Winnipeg

  • Vancouver

Delivery windows and availability vary by city. You'll see if delivery is available to your address during checkout.

Weight & Size

Items up to 35 lbs that fit in a standard vehicle can be delivered. Larger or heavier items work better with self-arranged pickup.

Delivery Fees

The delivery fee is calculated based on:

  • Distance between seller and buyer

  • Delivery type (Standard or Flex)

You'll see the exact fee at checkout before you pay. Flex delivery often has lower rates than Standard because of the scheduled pickup windows.

What If I'm Not Home?

If you can't be there for delivery:

  • Add delivery notes for where to leave the item

  • Have someone else receive it

  • Ensure a safe drop-off location

The courier will follow your instructions or contact you if there's an issue.

No Delivery Available?

If a seller doesn't offer delivery, you'll arrange pickup directly with them after purchase. This works great for larger items or when you'd prefer to see the item in person before completing the transaction.
