Standard or Flex Delivery - which is right for you?

How Your Delivery Gets Scheduled

ShopBroker automatically finds the best delivery option based on the seller's availability and your location. You don't need to choose between delivery types -- we handle that for you.

Standard Delivery

  • Timing: Typically same-day when the seller dispatches early in the day

  • How it works: The seller marks the item as ready and a courier is dispatched right away

  • Good to know: Fastest option when available

Flex Delivery

  • Timing: Usually same-day or next-day delivery

  • How it works: The courier picks up during one of the seller's available windows, often at a lower rate

  • Good to know: You may see a lower delivery fee with this option

Your Delivery Date

You'll see the estimated delivery date at checkout. Some dates might not be available because:

  • The seller has limited availability

  • It's a holiday or service closure

Flex delivery depends on the seller's schedule. You'll see exactly what's available during checkout.

Staying in the Loop

You'll receive notifications at each stage of the delivery process:

Delivery scheduled -- As soon as the seller schedules a date and time window, you'll get an email and an in-app message with the details

Courier picks up -- You'll know when the courier collects your item from the seller

On the way -- Another notification when the courier is heading to you

Live tracking -- Follow the courier's progress in real-time as they approach

Delivered -- Confirmation when your item arrives

Tips for Smooth Delivery

Be available: Make sure someone can receive the item.

Clear access: Ensure the courier can easily reach your door.

Add notes: Use the delivery instructions field for helpful details like:

  • "Ring doorbell twice"

  • "Leave at side door"

  • "Apartment buzzer code: 123"

Need to Change Your Delivery?

Things come up. If you need to reschedule:

Go to your order details

Contact our support team

We'll work with you to find a new time

Note: Changes may not always be possible if pickup has already been triggered by the seller.

Weather and Delays

Bad weather occasionally affects deliveries. If this happens:

  • We'll notify you as soon as possible

  • You can reschedule to the next available day

  • Your payment protection remains in place

Your item will get to you, even if it takes a little longer than planned.
